I work at Hope Gospel because the Lord opened the door for me. The need for the intersection of Faith, ministry, and family are all met here. I enjoy the team I get to work with and the opportunity to minister and help people on a daily basis.

My favorite part of working at the Mission is all the great people I get to work with, both employees and residents.

Each day I can't wait to get here at Hope. It's an amazing place to see God working in people's lives and I get to be a part of that!

I've been blessed, more times than I can remember, by having a front row seat watching God answering prayers, and watching Him at work in the lives of those involved in HGM's programs. Sure, there are highs and lows as the residents strive to get their lives in order. Much the same as each of us have. I learn much more from those that I mentor than they do from me. The quote "But for the grace of God, there go I" rightfully suggests that any of us could be in their shoes in the blink of an eye.

Working at Hope Gospel Mission is much more than a job to me, it is a calling. I am able to directly invest in the lives of the residents and staff every day and observe God’s transformational power at work. The program embodies a perfect blend of grace and truth and I am not restricted from sharing my hope and faith in Christ as part of the process. I know I will never get rich materially by working for the mission, but know this is an investment in what truly matters. The blessings come from watching someone walk away from a life filled with poor choices and trauma, have the ability to plant seeds in their lives, and watch them become aware of their preciousness and grow toward their God-given potential. I am so grateful to be a part of this beautiful ministry!
